Finishing equipment manufacturer GM has been quite active at Labelexpo Americas. GM’s centrally located booth is highlighting the company’s latest innovations, which provide digital label producers and converters with a wide variety of solutions to ensure high productivity and long-lasting service within the narrow and mid-web segment.

Designed with a focus on automation, high quality and adding value, GM’s converting lines also feature Industry 4.0 compatibility and cloud connectivity for future-proofing investments and preparing customers for the next level in label converting.

There are six GM machines running live at the event, including the new DC350Flex Fast label finisher. This integrated label converting line is fitted with a multi-layer module to demonstrate how easy any label converter can produce multi-layer labels using the whole web width. The popular DC330Mini Compact label finisher can be seen producing pre-printed labels during the show. It comes with options such as real-time monitoring, full remote control, and job data in the cloud.

We are demonstrating a wide range of innovations from GM, including some very interesting applications that can make a real difference for label printing companies,” says GM’s CEO Uffe Nielsen.

Visitors can also experience the SR350 slitter inspection rewinder, which has been completely redesigned in a modular open concept with a range of available options such as BST 100% inspection camera for pharma and security labels, scanner barcode reader, inkjet system, automatic slitting unit, waste vacuum ejector and turret rewinder, and the LR250 label inspection rewinder, an economical rewinder designed and manufactured to deliver enhanced performance that will boost everyday label productivity.

Also on show is the CC160S semi-automatic core cutter, which provides high precision feeding and cutting of cardboard cores of optional length and sizes at high speed, and the CS350 high speed sheeter, a 350 mm roll to sheet guillotine cutter suitable for cutting labels and heavy materials.
